Larry R. Laslo is one of the design world's most fascinating personalities and is celebrated in the design world as a seasoned style-arbiter creating legendary interior landscapes for his international as well as culturally diverse clients. Laslo draws inspiration from the world around him to transform these designs into "livable contemporary." For Laslo, contemporary means "classic with a twist." He is one of the foremost product designers in the world all illustrated by his new fabric collection "Larry Laslo for The Robert Allen Group" which was launched in 2007 with more than 250 fabrics and is presented through the Egg & Dart Design Center in Palm Desert. Steven Reed Love, founder of Egg & Dart, Ltd., invited 15 of the desert's top interior designers to meet Larry Laslo at Citron in the Viceroy for a private dinner alongside an electrifying presentation of his work. The homes he has designed around the world have been published in every major interior design magazine. Recipient of the prestigious Design Icon Award, Laslo’s projects have ranged from the interiors of Bergdorf Goodman on Fifth Avenue in New York City to the design and installation of the East meets West Hanae Mori exhibit at Art Tower Mito in Japan.
